Quilted garments of all sorts have been popping up left and right this season. I’m a fan. Quilted clothing is warm and adds a great deal of visual interest and texture. Here’s one piece you might consider adding to your wardrobe this winter: the quilted topcoat.
I’ve gotten a lot of questions about this coat since posting last week. It’s from the Italian brand Montezemolo and I picked it up from their boutique in Brera while in Milan last month. Quilted items don’t have to be overstuffed or puffy. One of my favorite things about this coat is that it’s thin and lightweight enough to be worn under another coat – we’ll publish an example of this in the near future – yet still stylish and warm on it’s own.
Don’t forget about your winter whites! White denim isn’t just for summertime. Work it into your rotation every once in a while to keep your winter style fresh and unexpected.
Thanks for reading.
