We love mohair tuxedos for their silken luster and picturesque wrinkle resistance. Oh, and they're flame retardant. Mohair comes from an Angora goat and has a natural, buoyant crimp. Dormeuil uses 90% in their blend, resulting in a sophisticated yet resilient garment. Because of the breathable plain weave and perennial weight, it's also perfect for all season use.
Handmade Tonik Mohair Tuxedo
This is a very special tuxedo. Not only is it made with what is considered the gold (er, diamond--sorry, fabric joke) standard fabric for tuxedos, Dormeuil Tonik, and not only does it have some pretty serious lapels and cocktail cuffs, but this was the actual tuxedo that I wore on my wedding day. It's the way to go for a wedding tuxedo, IMO. (Well, it's one way to go!) Make the investment and pull out all the stops for your special day AND have a dynamite classic piece of formalwear that you can wear for the rest of your life. This double-breasted mohair tuxedo is handmade in Michael Andrews' bespoke workshop and represents their highest level of craftsmanship. Getting married?
