An easy way to add some seasonally-adjusted summer fun to your style

One of the best trends to emerge from Pitti this year was the printed shirt. This was music to our ears here at HSS as we’ve been embracing the style for years now.

Summer should be about having a little fun with your personal style, which is why now is the perfect time to work a printed shirt into your wardrobe.

To help you out, here are five ways to wear a printed shirt this summer.

1. Summer Separates

A printed shirt easily transforms an outfit into something that’s more summer-ready (especially one with a palm print). Let it be the statement item against your summer staple linen blazer and pants.

2. Dressed Down Suit

Make your cotton suit a little more casual. And consider continuing the casual vibes with your footwear. A crisp pair of white leather sneakers. It’s not a sin.

3. Vacation Vibes

Nothing more natural together than a printed shirt and shorts. Great for vacations or whenever you feel like you need one. Live dangerously with a pair of white shorts with the perfect inseam.

4. Urban Tropical

Remember that summertime is the best time to have a little fun with your style. A printed shirt checks one of those boxes and burgundy chinos check another. Top it off with a small-brimmed straw hat for some urban tropical vibes.

5. Pool Day
