It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Italian-inspired style. Classic tailoring with just the right amount of flair to give it a personal touch to stand out from the crowd. Here’s one way I did it recently with my pinstripe suit.

A navy suit with a bold pinstripe conjures images of investment bankers and power players. I styled it in that vein last week. Thinking outside that box might be difficult, especially with the pinstripe making such a big statement. Different patterns can play well together, however, so don’t be afraid to experiment. I picked up this great Luciano Barbera tie recently and love the playful contrast.
Nothing says Italian style quite like a devil-may-care pocket square fold. The best ones require no thought at all, though they might require a couple tries to get it “just right.” Check out our guide on how to fold a big pocket square for a tutorial.
Sunglasses have a big impact on a look’s overall appearance. What better pair to finish off this Italian-inspired look than these honey-colored frames from my friend Fabio’s company, The Bespoke Dudes?
Thanks, as always, for reading.
