I want to tell you something. I don’t always wear a three-piece suit. And though I’m rarely without my favorite Ray-Ban Clubmasters when I’m outside, I’m not the kind of guy to wear them indoors. These things are probably fairly obvious, but I thought I should maybe clear up any confusion. And since I’m frequently asked what I wear when I’m just relaxing at home, I thought it would be fun to invite you into my house and show you a little bit of what my laid back style looks like.
At home, comfort trumps everything for me. Especially during the colder fall and winter months, give me a big shawl collar cardigan or loose fitting work shirt and I’m a happy guy. H&M was kind enough to send me a couple of pieces from their new Mauritz Archive Collection, including the yellow wool shirt I’m wearing. Since the weather has gotten chillier, this shirt has pretty much become my favorite laid back, lounging around the house, or sitting at my desk working on the blog shirt.
A lot of—okay, the majority of—the time I spend at home is right here at my desk in this little room I call my office. It’s where I practice my saxophone and spend my time working on the blog. Though the occasional tornado blows through, I do generally keep it as neat and organized as you see. It’s not always the easiest task, but I find that an organized and simple work environment helps me to be most productive.
Since we’re going behind the scenes a bit, I wanted to mention that Rob was thrilled to get to use his little Fuji X100S rather than his usual weapon of choice for the photo above of me at my desk.
