MoreThough I think about (and usually talk to) my father every day, with Father’s Day approaching I’ve been thinking about him a little more than usual. And of the many things that come to mind are a couple of the lessons he taught me that have definitely shaped who I am today. The first of these is: Work hard and always strive to do the best job possible, no matter what it is you are doing. And the second: You get what you pay for; be willing to invest a little more for quality. Timeless advice and values that are applicable to all aspects of life.
The other thing I’ve been thinking about my father is that he is incredibly difficult to buy gifts for. I know my mother will back me up on that one.
