The official kickoff of the holiday season may still be a couple weeks away, but the holiday party season is just starting to heat up. And that means that it’s time to start thinking about what to wear. Holiday parties come in a variety of styles, with a variety of dress codes, and are often spent with a variety of different people—co-workers, friends, and family. So this week, I’ve put together three looks to offer some ideas and inspiration for how to dress at your next holiday party.

A great sweater is go-to item for any holiday party, whether at the office, at home, or out at a restaurant or bar. Stick with something appropriate for the season, like a fair isle sweater, and make sure to choose one in a festive color. Pair it with a blazer in a rich fabric, like a donegal tweed, and some wool pants for a look that works for any holiday party scenario.
