A well organized closet begins with maximizing the use of space. | PHOTOGRAPHY | by Rob McIver Photo
A small closet is the bane of any menswear enthusiast’s existence. Where are you supposed to store your suits, blazers, shirt, and coats? There are many solutions, of course, like using a clothing rack for your suits, blazers, and assorted outerwear – as I do – but it’s still good to think about how you can maximize the space in your closet. My closet is for my shirts and sweaters. An easy way to fit more into a smaller closet is to use skinnier hangers. Plastic hangers are nice, but they are bulky and take up a lot of room. Instead, invest in some hangers like these.
This is just a small glimpse into my closet. I’ve received several emails from readers asking about getting a closet tour. That’s definitely in the works. Look for it in a future episode of Ask He Spoke Style.
