Poutine

April 23rd, 2014
I

In general, I’m a healthy eater. I avoid pretty much anything that would be considered bad for you, including soda, potato chips, and fried foods. However, I’m not above trying anything that is well-known to a particular country, region, or city. So when Rob and I were in Montreal not too long ago, we had to give one of the local “delicacies” a try. Of course, I’m talking about poutine—french fries covered in gravy and topped with cheese.

Depending on your viewpoint, poutine could be considered either divine or disgusting. As for me, well, I’m glad I can say that I tried it, but I’m not sure it’s something I’ll be including regularly in my diet. We actually sampled the “classic” version as well as one with smoked meats. Definitely What about you? Have you ever had poutine?

Thanks for reading.

Stylishly Yours,
