If you’ve listened to our latest podcast episode, you know that I’m currently traveling. Although I travel frequently, leaving home never gets easier. And this time, in particular, was a little more difficult than in the past, having just moved into a new apartment that actually feels like home for the first time in over a year and a half.
I’ve posted a few images of the new pad on Instagram, but I thought it was time I give you a little bit of a peek on the blog.
Now, I have lived in a number of cool apartments over the years, but I have to say that this one is, hands-down, the coolest. From the two cathedral windows to the open floor plan to the exposed brick, private balcony, loft and walk-in closet, it’s got everything you could want.
Other than my trusty Eames chair and a few choice pieces from West Elm, like this floor lamp I’ve always wanted, it’s currently furnished pretty sparsely. And with no artwork on the walls, the place has a particularly minimalist/not-quite-lived-in vibe. So not too much to show right now other than the main living area.
Once Robin moves in, I expect we’ll be spending some time putting the finishing touches on the place as well as hanging our artwork. And once it’s in a more put-together state, I promise we’ll share more photos of the whole space.
Thanks for reading.

Brian Sacawa
