Hope you’ll pardon the brief interruption on this Christmas Day but I just wanted to take a moment to send a note of gratitude on behalf of myself and the entire He Spoke Style team for your wonderful and continued support this past year.

And what a year it has been!

Both Rob and I retired from the Army — me after 20-plus years; Rob after just over 24 years. We completed an ambitious redesign and relaunch of the HSS site and shop. And we assembled an incredible team to help power us into an exciting new era.

There’s so much more to come but today, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from us to you!

Christmas is almost here and if somehow you’ve managed to avoid getting into the holiday spirit thus far, well, it’s about time you did! When I posted our Thanksgiving playlist last month, I mentioned that I am quite particular about when Christmas music should be played — never ever before Thanksgiving! But once that Thanksgiving turkey makes its transition to leftovers, it’s game on and this little playlist has provided the holiday soundtrack in our home — including our annual Christmas cocktail party — for quite a few years at this point.

I like my Christmas music exactly like I like my cocktails — simple, classic, and served with style. So when I’m mixing up an Old-Fashioned or imbibing an old-time holiday favorite (a Seagram’s 7 and ginger ale highball) the swinging sounds of this playlist are the perfect accompaniment. So whether you’re traveling for the holidays, staying in, or hosting, queue up our Christmas playlist to get into the holiday spirit — with style.
