Let's talk about the "first suit" for a moment. Although we're fond of touting a navy suit for this milestone, a solid case can also be made for a medium grey suit. In terms of versatility, they're just about equal, so what it comes down to is personal preference as well as intended use. If you plan to wear this primarily as a business suit, the scales might tip towards medium grey. If you want something that seamlessly weaves into various formal or semi-formal functions, this is absolutely the suit for you. We've styled it here with a peaked lapel, however, if you'd like something more traditional, feel free to customize with a notch lapel. Wear it with a contrast collar shirt, striped tie, silver tie bar, and classic brown cap toes for a look that says that you mean business.
