Answer: What I Wore Today.
It was maybe about four years ago that the WIWT hashtag started popping up on Instagram. Since then, WIWT has spawned an entire visual vocabulary and vernacular of men’s style photos on line. The chestie, the headless body, the reaching down to my shoe shot, the overhead headless, and on and on. All designed to show the follower what you wore today.
N.B. In a non-menswear context, WIWT can also mean “wish I was there.”
