10 Different Ways To Wear A Turtleneck

From dressed up to casually cool

A turtleneck sweater is one of my favorite pieces of knitwear during the fall and winter months. Turtlenecks have a casual elegance and sophistication about them and are incredibly versatile. Whether you wear a turtleneck with jeans, a suit, of a blazer/trousers combination, it will always add a touch of refinement and finesse. In this this video, I’m showing you 10 different ways to wear and style a turtleneck from casual to dressed up.

Although I style six turtlenecks in this video–navy, tan, brown, grey, red, and black–I have a few more in my closet. And most of them are from Uniqlo. I have not found a better quality turtleneck at the price offered at Uniqlo. My favorites from the brand are all the extra fine merino wool. They’re extremely easy to layer, especially under a suit jacket, and are thin enough to tuck into my trousers, as I do in the first look in this video.

exceptional luxury gifts for him

I will tell you that Uniqlo turtlenecks are pretty popular and I regularly am disappointed to see that they’re sold out of my size. I guess I just wait a little too long into the season to look on the site. But here is a link for you to check and see if they’ve still got your size!

Great video! I especially like how you snap your fingers to change your pants, I need to learn that trick ;-) I’ve always avoided turtlenecks because my dad wore them…. in the 70’s! However, this summer I started wearing (my nicer, and solid color) polos under blazers thanks to your evil influence. It maybe time to go full HSS and revisit turtlenecks.

I agree – Uniqlo turtlenecks are a great quality for the price! I live in the heattech options all through winter and fall. Great post and video.
