When I was asked to work with Nordstrom on a couple of posts to highlight some of my favorite pieces from the Topman collection, I knew I wanted to show both my dapper and casual style. The first of these focused on the latter with a simple look, featuring this badass leather bomber. For this post, I thought I’d get my style in line with the season with this colorful spring blazer.
Those of us who live on the East Coast love to complain about the weather—the winters are so cold, the summers are so hot. And though I’ll rarely, if ever, make a stink about the cold, I will always complain about the summer heat and humidity. That’s just me. The good thing about these extremes is that we get to enjoy four distinct seasons, which means four opportunities to change up our wardrobe.
Dressing seasonally obviously has different meanings depending which season you’re talking about. In general, fall makes me think of layers, winter of texture. For spring and summer, adding a little color is the name of the game. Whether it’s just an accent in a small detail like a pocket square, or a bit more of a statement with a colorful blazer, a pop of brighter color is a great way to keep your style fresh this spring.

What are some ways you’ll be adding a little color to your wardrobe this spring?
Thanks for reading.
