Simple tweaks for everyday garments that make a big difference

The devil is always in the details. It’s what separates the regular guy from the one who puts the time, thought and effort into his appearance. In other words, the basic bro from the guy who “gets it”. Here are four ways to transform your style from the former to the latter.

Add some texture to your outerwear. Whether that is a nappy, boiled wool or some simple quilting, a little texture goes a long way.

Bring out the big guns. Instead of a lightweight sweater, layer it up big time with a chunky shawl cardigan.

Get sartorial with you trousers. Everyone has a pair of wool pants. The guy who “knows”, however, wears flannel. That guy also knows that investing in a flannel suit yields some versatile separates as well.

Boot game. If I had a nickel for every time we mentioned the benefits of a proper pair of dress boots, I’d have enough money for a few new pairs. Don’t wait any longer.
