Preparing for the holidays always involves dressing things up. At my house, liberating the Christmas decorations from the basement, stringing the lights up on the porch, and picking out a tree and trimming it are all activities that signal that the holidays are here. There is an element of boldness in most of these holiday displays, so there’s no harm in embracing that festive spirit when thinking about what to wear to a holiday party.
