MoreEven though fall doesn’t officially begin until Sunday, it has certainly felt a lot like fall proper this past week. It’s been a welcome change to have a slight chill in the morning air and I’ve been embracing that from a style perspective. Here’s an easy fall weekend casual look that combines two of my favorite autumn and winter staples—a chambray shirt and a great pair of boots—with an insulated Levi’s trucker jacket.
One of the best things about the return of fall is the chance to break out some of the items that have languished in your closet during the summer months. A chambray shirt, while perfect for fall, just doesn’t quite fit in my summer wardrobe. And, for me, it’s nice to have certain pieces that are truly seasonal in nature since it’s exciting to finally pull it out again when the weather is right.
A great pair of boots are definitely a fall wardrobe essential. I’ve been a big fan of these Timberland Earthkeepers for the past couple of years. Cuff your jeans or chinos to show off a little more of your boots.
